I like how easy this was to download and gave me a start point. I think for kindergarten preparation this is a very good thing. I wish the curriculum had more details about other concepts like word families like cat, hat, bat, etc. Another thing is the worksheets are the same other than changing letters and numbers. I wish there were some word family worksheets to incorporate. I am adding in stuff to teach my son that he does need. However, this is hands on, gives an easy starting point, and has other activities that I am going to use as well. Overall, I am excited to start this and see what my son does with this curriculum. I do like that it is spaced out and can be taught faster or slower. In short, it looks great, if you're creative and want to have a good experience this is a curriculum for you.
I love that there's a lesson plan and everything is already there!
I was at a loss. Where to start? With what to start? I was beginning to wonder if I was cut out for homeschooling my child. Was I going to be able to cover what was necessary for my child to succeed? Then I found this curriculum. It was all laid out for me in black and white (and all the colors in between). It was like a weight was lifted if of my mind. Now I know I will succeed in helping my child succeed. This took all the guess work out. Everything I need is right here. Thank you so much!!!
Well, it's been six weeks and it's great. So easy for me to just do the next thing and my 5-year-old daughter is really enjoying it!
My mom got this for us to try (Grandma loves spoiling her grandson!). It's been a gift for BOTH of us...I love it because he enjoys it and I don't have to think ahead and prepare a lesson. We just do the next thing in the lesson plan and have fun. Seriously, it's only been taking about 20 minutes a day, which is PERFECT. No boredom, no frustration, and he's learning well!
