FAQs

Does this meet my state's standards?

This curriculum was created with an eye on national standards. We consulted NGSS, CCSS, C3, and SEL standards in the designing of this curriculum. 

Can we use this for multiple children?

The family-friendly unit study approach is ideal to use in families. While we used national third grade standards to curate the content, this curriculum could be used for siblings.

How many pages in it?

The student curriculum is 1,816 pages.

While we have included colored illustrations, you may print it in black-and-white and the images will be grayscale. Double-sided is also fine. While there are a few cut and paste activities, they can either be duplicated so as to preserve the curriculum, you can check the student work before they cut, or you can adapt to not involve cutting. This is meant to be flexible and serve your needs. 

The Parent's Guide and Solutions Guide are not included in that page count. Please note: neither the Parent's Guide nor the Solutions Guide are necessary to print; we suggest saving them to your ipad, laptop, or even your phone for quick reference. 

Where do we print it?

Local print shops are often an easy solution, as are companies like The Homeschool Printing Company and Staples. Many of our families have Epson Ecoflow printers at home and still choose to use The Homeschool Printing Company for its fabulous output and ease of use.
